HE STUDIED AT THE MUSEUM SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS AND, BECOMING INTERESTED IN THE SEA, MOVED TO THE COAST OF MAINE WHERE HE SPENT THE REMAINING PART OF HIS LIFE PAINTING ITS RUGGED COASTLINE.
